Temple’s Sugar Bush Wedding: Kristin + Eddie

Perth-Manor-Wedding-Stephanie-Beach-Photography-Couch-Flowers-Bouquet-Coral-Pink-Orange-FloralRain on your wedding day is something that you really can’t control – despite how much anti-rain dancing you may do before the big day. But, in my opinion, the best way to deal with it is to have a great Plan B and embrace the weather whatever it turns out to be.

Kristin + Eddie did a great job of this. They switched to their plan B, and had prepped for poor weather with rain boots and our fleet of umbrellas. Their venue has a built in rainy day ceremony location that unlike some indoor locations, is absolutely lovely. In my opinion, it is nearly as wonderful as their outdoor ceremony locations (and I say nearly only because I absolutely love the trees that surround their property).

But before the ceremony even started, Kristin + Eddie spent the morning at the Perth Manor getting ready and enjoying the beautiful Victorian style of this boutique hotel. Once they were ready we got to capture their First Look, which is always such a special moment. These two were so cute showing each other the little details of their outfits and really just taking a moment for themselves. After some more portraits around the hotel it was time for the main event.

Their ceremony was enhanced by twinkle lights strung up between the wood beams of the venue and the loft areas at either end of Temple’s allowed for us to get some really unique shots throughout the day. But the best moments were the unplanned ones when Kristin and her girls were all teary eyed, and the bouts of laughter party way through it all. These are the moments that really make things special.

Kristin + Eddie’s day was filled with personal touches including ring pop wedding favours (as Eddie has proposed to Kristin with one of these sugary treats), photos from their many trips and adventures, and my personal favourite, a ring clink and fist pump during their portraits. These personal elements were enhanced by the work of the talented vendors they chose to bring their day to life. Their wedding cake had a slight nod to to the couple’s time in Japan in the form of colourful sakura flowers and these bright colours were matched in the ladies’ dresses, stunning flowers and decor.

But when it comes right down to it, the best part of the day was without a doubt, the couple themselves. These two are so kind and the love they share for each other could be seen and felt all day long. It was truly a joy to be able to share in their wedding day.
