Winter sessions tend to move at a slightly different pace, but it is a little hard to describe as they typically move both faster and slower. Slower because of the colder (and usually harsher) weather, there are typically a few breaks here and there to hide from the blustering wind and attempt to warm up between shots. Faster because while I am shooting, I attempt to do so at a quicker pace so everyone can get back to the warmer area (and so they can get their coats back on too).
But, as I mentioned in their sneak peek, Dana + Matt were real troopers and really didn’t complain about the cold unless I asked about it. But what was even better was how amazing they were in front of the camera! They really did ease into the session and got comfortable so quickly, and that made my job truly effortless. And to make matters even better, they are just so darn cute together! Mix that all with the gorgeous background that is the Mackenzie King Estate, and it makes for a wonderful session!
Getting to hang out with Dana + Matt throughout their engagement session also makes so oh so excited for their wedding day later this year, as I just know it’s going to be an absolutely amazing time too!
