Pinhey Point is often on my list of recommended locations for family and engagement sessions, but since it is a pretty long drive for most people (myself included) it often gets knocked off the list pretty early on in the decision process. And that’s kind of sad because it is a stunning spot filled with so many photo possibilities! The combination of forested/treed areas, stony waterfront, and of course the historic buildings make it one of my favourite places to shoot and I am reminded of that each and every time I venture out there. So when Tanya + Scott chose it for their engagement session, I was super happy and when the weather ended up being as lovely as it was, I was completely over the moon!
But as I have said in previous posts, a great location and gorgeous light really mean nothing if you don’t have the right couple to work with and thankfully Tanya + Scott are two of the best! They truly are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold and I couldn’t be happier to be able to capture a portion of their lives together! And to say I am excited for the wedding day next year would be a real understatement because I just know it is going to be another day where I drive home with just the biggest smile on my face!
