Tanya + Scott’s engagement session was nothing if not filled with love and laughter! Honestly, they could not stop laughing, Tanya more so than Scott, but still, it was just such a joy to be around as laughter really is contagious! I really can’t think of any better way to spend an evening than walking around a beautiful area filled with nature and historic buildings with two souls as wonderful as Tanya + Scott!
I left their session with what seemed like a million little burs stuck to my pants and spent the better part of 30 minutes picking them all off in my garage when I got home, but Karine + Doug’s session was so wonderful and those annoying little burs were completely worth the hassle!
Engagement sessions are the perfect way to get used to having your photo taken. You can get used to the instructions your photographer will give you and the way they shoot, and just get more comfortable with there being a lens in front of you as you cuddle with your soon to be spouse.
As I mentioned in their sneak peek, Marie & Robert got to deal with the first cold patch that hit our area. And although the weeks leading up to it were so free of snow and unseasonable warm that I had to scout for new locations, the day of their shoot was full of chill-you-to-the-bone winds with a touch of snow.
December was being so late-fall-like that I ventured out a little while ago looking for a few places that were still accessible (since the City has starting closing some parks and pathways, expecting snow) but still, didn’t look too brown (since there wasn’t any actual snow). It took me the better part of a day, but I found several great spots to use for engagement sessions. And then Mother Nature decided to change her mind a little.
