The 2018 wedding season was pretty darn amazing and I don’t think there could have been any better way to wrap up all this amazing-ness than with Emilie + Maxie’s wedding day! Not only was it at one of our absolute favourite venues, but these two were just about the sweetest, cutest people we have ever worked with! And they of course included their baby boy – I mean, does it get any cuter than a baby in a suit?!
The start of a wedding day is one of my favourite times. When I show up to start bridal prep coverage I walk into a house full of excitement and anticipation. And then I get to play around with all the pretties! Bridesmaids dresses, rings, flowers, paper goods and of course, the bridal gown. Putting these things together is really fun for me, and Lisa definitely made it easy too.
I mentioned this in their sneak peek, but Caren + Jason made my final wedding of 2013 a memorable event. Their wedding was full of so much meaning and love it took my breath away. Their ceremony was held at the Rideau Park United Church, and afterwards we headed to the the Museum of Nature in downtown Ottawa to shoot their formal portraits.
Yesterday I shot my final wedding of 2013 and Caren and Jason definitely made sure it was a memorable event.
After their ceremony at the Rideau Park United Church, we shot their portraits at the Nature Museum in downtown Ottawa, which served as a fantastic ending to a truly beautiful wedding day. I am loving all of the photos from their day and can’t wait to share them here in the New Year.
