Little Baby Jeremy did such an amazing job during his session. There were of course a few crying episodes, but those were actually pretty short thanks to a few extra feedings and when it comes right down to it, a couple breaks is a session like this is completely normal. In fact, I always tell parents that although a session may be scheduled for an hour (as an example), it will likely take a little longer because you simply can’t tell a one or two week old baby what to do. For the most part newborns do what they want to do, when they want to do it and we just have to roll with it.
But really when it comes right down to it, breaks like that in a session give me a chance to grab a few extra details shots around the nursery. And when the little one needs a soother (which are rarely very photogenic these days), I tend to grab photos of those teeny-tiny finger and toes because they are just so irresistible!!
I really did have a lovely time with this super cute family and a special shout out to their pup who was so well behaved. Super calm and attentive during the whole session, provided there were a few belly rubs here and there of course.
