It has been a true joy to be able to capture so many of Katherine + Mike’s milestones over the years and getting to see them as parents really is the icing on the cake. Sweet Baby Maeve was a darling girl after my own heart. Like my own little girl, Maeve is an IVF baby and a photo representing that was one of the few requests her parents had when we were planning her newborn photos. And of course I was more than happy to make that happen.

Parents are always worried, and most of the time even apologetic, when their little baby wakes up during their newborn session. Whether it is taking them a while to settle when they first arrive to the studio, or they decide they want a big feeding partway through, during basically every session I explain to parents that it is totally normal. In fact, it is 100% expected.

I don’t even have words for how special it has been watching this family grow over the last few years. Not only are Mariah and Benjamin the sweetest people (and funny too), but their little ones are so freaking adorable!! I got to meet Bennet on their wedding day, and have seen Milo grow since he was a wee newborn (and his adorable cake smash). Now their sweet little girl Eloise is here and I loved getting to see her with her two big brothers because boy-oh-boy do they ever love her!!
