I don’t even have words for how special it has been watching this family grow over the last few years. Not only are Mariah and Benjamin the sweetest people (and funny too), but their little ones are so freaking adorable!!⁠ I got to meet Bennet on their wedding day, and have seen Milo grow since he was a wee newborn (and his adorable cake smash). Now their sweet little girl Eloise is here and I loved getting to see her with her two big brothers because boy-oh-boy do they ever love her!!

My best friend growing up had four younger siblings on her mom’s side and whenever I would visit I always wondered how her mom did it. It seemed like it would be so tiring to keep them all entertained throughout the day, and completely overwhelming to go anywhere with all of the kids in tow. But she did, and she did it wonderfully. And The Roses are doing it wonderfully too. Their four kids are seriously some of the best listeners I have worked with. Every time I have had them in front of my camera they have done so well.

I do a lot of lifestyle newborn session indoors, specifically in the family’s home, so when Courtney + Scott asked if we could do their newborn session in a park I was super on board! I just loved the idea of changing things up a bit and of course the summer time is a great chance to get everyone outdoors.
