Irish Hills Golf and Country Club Wedding: Natasha + Jon

Ottawa-Golf-Course-Wedding-Stephanie-Beach-Photography Natasha + Jon’s wedding day was the perfect way to wrap up the triple header weekend we had back in September. Not only was it a beautiful day in terms of the weather, but these two are just about the sweetest people ever! And to make things even better, they surrounded themselves with even more awesome people!

When I booked the weekday double header (Thursday, Friday) last year, I marked the weekend off as being unavailable. I figured I would be exhausted and I wanted to make sure I didn’t get too bogged down with editing afterwards. But then along can Natasha + Jon and the instant I met them I just knew I had to be a part of their wedding day!

These two were really so kind and sweet and, although I knew I would be tired, I also knew that shooting their day was going to be some incredibly worth the exhaustion — and I was definitely right! And surprisingly, I wasn’t as tired or sore as I thought I would be. I had done a triple header a few years ago that wore me out completely (after which I promised myself I would never do one again, haha), but this time around it wasn’t so bad. Every part of me ached and I was so very tired, my ability to speak proper English was definitely affected, but other than that I was really just excited to capture another wedding day!

And what a lovely day it was! Being able to capture these moments for Natasha + Jon was very special and being a part of their story means the world to me. They did such a wonderful job during their engagement session that I knew the portraits were going to be a breeze, but they really knocked it out of the park with their sheer awesomeness!!
