It seems weird to say that an entire year has passed since we were lucky enough to photograph Sarah + Anders’ wedding day. That’s right, it was a year ago that we were and tromping through the mud, looking for the nearest umbrella or canopy for our subjects, and just generally trying to keep our gear dry. In other words, it was an amazing wedding and I would redo every sopping minute of it in a heartbeat.

Ottawa Farm Wedding: Lisa + Bryson
Their wedding day was wet and cold. To be more precise, their wedding day was very wet and very cold. But everything about Lisa + Bryson’s day was still gorgeous and full of love. And to make matters even better, everyone was super chill that day. From the Bride and Groom, their entire bridal party and family even down to their guests, everyone was so calm all day long, despite the ever changing plans due to the weather. It was such a joy to photograph such a relaxed and fun wedding.

We have had a record number of rainy weddings this year and this past weekend’s wedding was one more to add to that list. But despite all of that water falling from the sky, Nat + Sean had a fantastic wedding and they really, really nailed their portraits!! It certainly helps when you have a fantastic group of friends and family and a truly unique wedding theme. And although the gorgeous sunset and rainbow definitely added to their wedding day, nothing could top the love these two share!

Ottawa Backyard Wedding: Sarah + Anders, Photobooth
So apparently I never posted about the amazing time we had at Sarah + Anders wedding after we had set up their Photobooth!! I guess it has just been so busy that I missed sharing that with everyone.
