Ottawa Wedding + Newborn Photographers who know what's it like to be awkward in front of the camera
Sometimes you have a session where just everything goes so well…this was one of those sessions.
The weather was the perfect blend of cold enough for there to be a light covering of snow on the ground (essential to a proper winter engagement session), but not so cold that we froze to death just walking around the woods, so big thanks to Mother Nature for that! But what made the session truly wonderful was Jessica + Dillon.

Winter took a while but it is definitely here now isn’t it?
I met up with Jessica + Dillon after ice and a touch of snow had hit the city, but before the big blast of snow we received a little earlier this week. It made for some lovely ground cover for their session without adding too much trouble walking through the woods.

I absolutely love all the hiking trails and walking paths Ottawa has to offer. All of the NCC Greenbelt trails make options for engagement sessions absolutely endless! That being said, I definitely do have my favourites and the Lime Kiln trail is absolutely on that list.

The Fall has always been my absolute favourite season. The leaves turning bright yellow, orange and red. The sound as they crunch under your feet. And definitely the fact that you can wear sweaters and hoodies again.
So with that said, Fall engagement sessions are definitely some of my favourite since they combine all of that with photographing lovely couples!

This time last year we were getting ready for our last wedding of the 2014 season. And while I recover from yesterday wedding (which happens to be the last one for us for the 2015 season), I wanted to take a look back at the absolutely wonderful wedding of Hayley + Jon.
