Strathmere Lodge Wedding: Angela + Paul

Strathmere-Inn-Wedding-Stephanie-Beach-Photography-bride-groom There are so many little things we get to witness throughout each wedding day we are a part of that really lets us know that our couple is such a great fit for one another. And that was the case with Angela + Paul too, like when I would catch one of them staring oh so lovingly at the other when someone mentioned them, the oh so sweet kisses they gave each other all through the day, and of course the immense joy and anticipation they both had before they walked down the aisle to say I do. But I think the very best example of how perfect these two are together was their vows – because when you write your vows individually and secretly, and they still come out so similar, that’s a perfect fit!

Now when I say their vows were similar, what I really should be saying is that portions of Angela + Pauls’ vows were identical – like literally identical! So when you scroll through the photos from this part of the day they are pretty hilarious. They start off with Paul saying his vows and for a little Angela’s face looks like she finds them to be absolutely hilarious, even though it was a very sweet, loving note. But then it all becomes clear as about halfway through her own vows, she quotes the same piece Paul did. It really was a memorable moment for them, all of their guests and us too since it was definitely a first for us.

But really this entire day was a memorable one. Angela + Paul had chosen some of the very best people to stand by their side as they were married, and their entire group of friends and family who were there to help them celebrate this day were so much fun. I mean, when her fellow teachers told me they had something special planned, I really couldn’t have imagined that they would break out into a mostly planned serenade for the bride complete with tambourine accompaniment.

And of course, as I mentioned in their sneak peek, these two absolutely rocked their portraits! The love and devotion they have for each other is such oh so clear and we were so incredibly honoured to be able to capture it all for them.
