I seem to have just the worst luck when it comes to weddings at Andrew Haydon Park. And just so we’re clear, by that I mean the worst luck with the weather at weddings here. I have shot many here now and literally all but one have endured a rather wet, rainy day. And even the one that didn’t get rain, got an intense heat wave (to the degree that people were started to feel ill despite the copious amounts of water we had around).
But despite the less than ideal weather conditions, Annie + Chris didn’t let it get them down for too long as they definitely made the most of the day and our time together!

For us, the day we chose to get married was actually based on availability of a few of our preferred vendors and not for the date itself. And even though I joke that it was chosen because it is 6-months from my birthday (and I therefore get a present every 6-months), it truly was just a day in September that fit our criteria. That being said, it is now a very special date for us and the fact that we now share it with two people as truly wonderful as Leandra + Lucas is pretty darn awesome!
We have had many couples who ended up getting married after meeting online, but I think Casandra + Alex may be the first who specifically met while playing video games online. So with that in mind, and the fact that the are active gamers to this day (and went to school in the industry), it makes perfect sense that their wedding day was themed around their favourite past time.
