A couple years ago Dave and I were a part of way too many wedding shows. Seriously, it was utterly exhausting and for the last couple shows we were in, we weren’t able to take full advantage of them because we were pretty booked up already. But, it was actually at a few of these wedding shows that we met Karine + Doug, so perhaps it was a very good thing that we attended so many because I am just oh so happy we got to work with these two wonderful souls and capture their wedding day for them!!
And I know I have said this before, but we truly do have the very best clients and get to capture the most wonderful wedding days! And if I didn’t already think that before Karine + Doug’s wedding day, I definitely would have afterwards. These two not only designed a gorgeous wedding day for us to photograph all day long, but they also created a heart-warming and fun day too.
There were so many things that made Karine + Doug’s wedding day so great. The people were all so kind and thoughtful, the couple was of course stunning, and the venue was a beautiful backdrop for some really unique photos. And speaking of those photos, Karine + Doug absolutely nailed every single one of them!! Leading up to their wedding, I was pretty sure they would rock their portraits because they did such a fabulous job with their engagement photos, but I absolutely love what we were able to create with them on their big day!
But in the end, a wedding day as delightful as this one is made so by the couple themselves. Not only by rocking their photos and allowing us to do do our thing creatively, but by being such lovely people. Karine + Doug truly are salt-of-the-earth people and Dave and I not only had a great time at their wedding, but felt incredibly honoured to have been a part of it all.
