Century Events Wedding: Kaitlin + Andrew

Century-Events-Wedding-Ottawa-Stephanie-Beach-Photography I feel like every time I sit down to write a blog post for one of our weddings I draw a blank. And it’s not because I didn’t have a wonderful time at the wedding or anything like that, the exact opposite really – the day was so amazing and fun that I am completely lost for words! This is definitely the case with Kaitlin + Andrew’s wedding day. They were so amazing to work with, and their wedding party was a complete and utter blast that I don’t even know where to start with how much fun Dave and I had throughout their entire day!

My day started with the most beautiful home filled with so much natural light! The sunroom (where we did the vast majority of Kaitlin’s photos) was heavenly, so much so that I was drawn to it the second I stepped into the house. The details were laid out and Kaitlin had definitely provided me with some real treats! And of course all the gorgeous ladies made my job easy.

That was actually a theme for the day really: everyone making our job easy. The wedding party, the family and of course the Bride + Groom themselves really were such a joy to be around and everyone absolutely nailed it when in front of the camera! Their ceremony was so sweet and the church was a lovely setting and of course the venue team killed it with not only the decor and making sure everything ran on time, but the food was also absolutely scrumptious!

I had such a hard time picking out a sneak peek for these two, and to be honest, I am having an even harder time choosing a favourite moment from their day. Their speeches were absolutely hilarious (really the wedding party in general was hilarious all day long!) and being able to get a birdseye view of their wedding dances was pretty fun too, but I do keep going back to those portraits because these two were absolute magic!
