I do always love it when a newborn session is my first shoot of the year. There is just something so wonderful about starting a fresh year with a brand new tiny human! It helps curb those wintertime blues all while capturing some wonderful memories for the new parents. And I don’t think there could have been a better start to my 2022 than with sweet Baby Bailey’s session! Not only was she so freaking adorable, but she was so incredibly well behaved during her entire session!
You may be reading that first paragraph and thinking, silly Stephanie, you have the year wrong. Well that is no typo, I am actually just that far behind when it comes to blogging. So far behind that some of the babies I am finally sharing the sessions of are full blown toddlers. It’s crazy how quickly you can get super behind in something when you have your own tiny human to take care of.
But I digress, let’s get back to sweet Baby Bailey. Her session was so much fun as I got to whip out a ton of new props (at the time they were new) and make setups that are now some of my absolute favourites, and fan favourites too as that moon pillow gets requested time and time again. Plus swaddled sessions are such a delight since the wee little babes can’t wiggle out of their poses too much so I get to capture lots of different looks and setups while they get their beauty rest.
