We have been to a lot of great weddings, and a lot of weddings with absolutely hilarious moments, but I think Victoria + Nathan‘s wedding was the first where I actually paused to repeat the hilarity to Dave (which, in case you don’t know, is what I do when I find something really, really funny), because at the start of their vows, they went back and forth with their lines, and Rick-Rolled all of their guests!

Oh my goodness guys – Shannon + Erin’s wedding was freaking AMAZING!! Honestly, everything about it made me so deliriously happy! And it did so in the windchill-filled, -40 degree, winter weather, it was just that good!

August 18, 2018 was definitely the date we had the absolute most inquiries for this year. Every year over the past little while has had a neat looking date and this year so many couples wanted 18/08/18 on their invites. Now, I know a lot of couples got married on this day, and I am sure they were some really good ones out there too, but I really do think Dave and I hit the jackpot as we got to work with Lindsay + Shawn and their absolutely wonderful group of family and friends. So yeah, I think we won!

During my very first wedding (or really shoot of any kind) at Andrew Haydon Park it rained. It rained a lot. It rained so much that we never really left the bandshell when it came time for the wedding photos.
During my second wedding at Andrew Haydon Park, we were running short on time and never really left the waterfall. It was a lovely day, but the fact that we had to get back downtown as quickly as possible meant we didn’t get to explore the park as much as I would have liked.
But during this third wedding at Andrew Haydon Park, there wasn’t a rain cloud in sight and it felt like we had all the time we wanted (we didn’t, but it felt like that for a bit)! But honestly, that wasn’t even the best part – this amazing couple and their incredibly fun wedding party was definitely a million times better than any location!
