Evermore Wedding: Ellen + Graham

The weather could not have been better on Ellen + Graham’s day and I am so glad it worked out that way as Evermore was such a gorgeous backdrop for their wedding and the beautiful weather meant we were able to really take advantage of that wonderful property.

I mean from the willow tree, rolling wheat fields, beautiful gardens and of course that super chic barn itself, the possibilities really are endless! Dave and I had an absolute blast with Ellen, Graham and their entire wedding party strolling around the property for their portraits. And as an extra special treat, the owners let the couple use their historic home as a setting for their super sweet first look.

I love first looks, but even if I didn’t before I definitely would now solely based on the reaction Graham had when he first saw his stunning bride! And of course, the spin that Ellen + Graham had decided to take on the moment was really neat as they chose to have their entire wedding party with them. But honestly, nothing could be the genuine look of immense joy that came across Ellen + Graham’s faces when they saw each other that day. Every time I scrolled through their first look photos my heart instantly melted as it was just such a lovely moment.

Ellen + Graham had filled their day with love and lots of personal touches. From the mention of why Ellen chose raspberry as her wedding colour (to honour her grandfather and the memories of picking the berries growing up), to the CD wedding favours and of course the personal decor they had used on their entry table, I really loved capturing all of the little details they had thoughtfully put together.

But really, at the end of the day nothing could beat the way these two looked at each other. Whether it was that first moment they saw each other, when they walked down the aisle, or just a quiet moment standing in the wheat field, whenever Ellen + Graham looked at each other or stood in each other’s embrace you could feel the love emanating from them, and it truly was a joy to capture.
