We were picnicking in Major’s Hill Park here in Ottawa with my then future in-laws and a few friends. It was a gorgeous summer day and we were having a really nice time. Then my now mother-in-law pointed behind me at a wedding party having their portraits done. I of course thought of how beautiful the bride looked in her dress, but mostly I thought of how much I wanted to be that photographer. I wanted to be shooting a wedding in Downtown Ottawa with a gorgeous bride, her new husband and their super fun bridal party.

I know it is a tad cliche, especially for photographers, but I wanted to share with all of you the top five Stephanie Beach Photography posts of 2013. 
This past fall was so cruel in terms of weather. Most weeks, it was gorgeous all week long, and then as soon as the weekend came, it would pour rain, freezing cold rain at that! But I have had some amazing clients the past few months who have been very flexible with moving dates around and with working in less than ideal conditions.
