In starting and restarting this post as many times as I have this morning, I have come to realize that writing a blog post about your own family session is actually really tricky. But this will get written and may be this time I won’t end up deleting everything and restarting from scratch – haha!Continue reading “Lifestyle Family Photography: The Konings + Brickells”
I was always the friend with the camera. It sounds cliche, I know, but I was always taking tons of photos of my friends and everything else around me really. My mom had a sort of unofficial rule as to how many rolls of film she would get developed for me so I remember having a lineup of exposed film to be processed. I don’t remember using my neon pink camera for very long, likely because the film become rather obsolete and hard to find. The next camera I can remember was this guy…
A year ago today, Dave and I became godparents to the sweetest little girl!
Evelyn is happy and cheery pretty much all of the time and it is next to impossible to not feel the same way when you are with her. She is definitely a little chatter box and when we spent last weekend with her and her brother I spent most of the weekend listening to her babble, helping her walk (a brand new skill she has) and clapping with her and she currently loves clapping.
Happy First Birthday Evelyn!!
My parents gave me my first camera when I was in Grade 2. At least, I am pretty sure that was my first camera, it’s the first one I remember being my own. I remember it being a neon pink 110 film camera, well, I remember that it was neon pink and used funny looking film that I now know is called 110 film. My parents gave it to me as a Christmas present on one of the best Christmases of my childhood. We were in Disney (which I now know must have cost a fortune!) and they gave us so many amazing presents to mark an even more amazing trip, one of which was this camera. I spent the rest of our trip taking photos all around Disney.
One year ago today was my (29 + 1)th birthday, which makes me one year older than that today (shh…don’t do the math).
The last couple of years I have done these birthday collages (see year 29 here and 29+1 here) and I have realized that I really enjoy putting them together so I decided to do yet another one this year.
