There are so many little things we get to witness throughout each wedding day we are a part of that really lets us know that our couple is such a great fit for one another. And that was the case with Angela + Paul too, like when I would catch one of them staring oh so lovingly at the other when someone mentioned them, the oh so sweet kisses they gave each other all through the day, and of course the immense joy and anticipation they both had before they walked down the aisle to say I do. But I think the very best example of how perfect these two are together was their vows – because when you write your vows individually and secretly, and they still come out so similar, that’s a perfect fit!

Strathmere Lodge Wedding: Angela + Paul, Sneak Peek
When I first meet with our couples it is normally pretty easy for me to get a feel for how their wedding day is going to go. And by that I mean, is it going to be a super relaxed and chill kind of day, a hilariously fun kind of day, a well-oiled machine kind of day, etc., etc., etc. (or some combination thereof). So when I sat down with Angela + Paul all those months ago, I knew right away what kind of day their wedding was going to be, and that was an absolutely incredible kind of day!!

Tie the Knot Wedding Show, 2017
We were a part of so many shows last year and to be honest, it was too many. We were so worn out by the end and we also weren’t able to take full advantage of them as we found that we were turning away most of the interested couples based on not being available for their wedding date.
So this year, we decided to cut back on the number of shows we did – big time. In the end, we are only doing a couple shows this year and we have tried to pick ones that are pretty different from each other. Our first show was the always fantastic Tie the Knot Wedding Show just this past weekend and I am so glad we kept it on our list.

Once the gorgeous Fall season is done, so is our regular busy season. As we are primarily wedding photographers, our off-season starts up basically when winter starts to show up and we have far fewer weddings. But it is always such a nice treat to be able to wrap up our busy season by giving back and supporting one of the many wonderful charities in the area, Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario, by capturing their annual 3 Wishes Gala.
