I love a small wedding. The kind where you can literally name every guest on your hands (maybe yours and your future spouse’s). They make for such intimate and heart-warming affairs and are often full of some of the most personal of touches.
Jennifer + Dan definitely had a small wedding, but the smaller guest list really just meant that everyone in attendance was loved so much and loved this fantastic couple just as much. And how could you not really, these two are so sweet and kind and so down-to-earth. Every moment they were in front of our cameras was a true pleasure!
Their gorgeous day started and ended at the stunning Chateau Laurier in downtown Ottawa. In between their prep and reception, they had their ceremony at St. Bartholomew’s Church and since it is in the perfect location, we headed over to Rideau Hall for some quick photos before they closed the gates for the evening.
Jennifer wore a simply stunning Vera Wang gown and was joined in beautiful fashion by her mom, mother-in-law and maid of honour who were also in gorgeous dresses! In fact, so many people at this wedding were so stylishly dressed, it was awesome! Add to that the fact that we got to shoot Jennifer’s wedding bouquet next to some Karsh images, and yeah, this wedding is definitely one for the record books for us.
Thank you both for not only letting us be part of your stunning day, but for letting us be part of the intimate group of friends and family you chose to share it with.
