I have mentioned this many times before, but I have the privilege of living in a really beautiful city. Ottawa is full of so many wonderful spots for engagement sessions that it is hard to start duplicating yourself too much. That being said, it is always a really nice treat when we get to venture outside of our city to capture sessions in spots that have an extra special meaning to our couples.
So when Jen + Jordan mentioned that they wanted to do have their engagement session at Mount Tremblant over on the Quebec side of things, we were super excited!!
It took a little while to get there (although to be honest, I did sleep through most of the drive), but when we did it was oh so worth it! The mountain scenery and all the trees absolutely filled with snow from the storm the previous day made the whole place into a winter wonderland. And of course getting to spend the afternoon and early evening with two people as down to earth and simply awesome as Jen + Jordan wasn’t too bad either.
We got to capture this fantastic couple as they enjoyed some of their favourite winter activities throughout the resort – a little snowboarding for Jen, a little skating for Jordan, and some hot chocolate for everyone! And of course, after a wee break to warm up and let the sun set, we got to venture out to the village after dark when it is even more stunning (but we’ll have more on that in their full preview)!
It really was a great day and although I was super exhausted by the end of it (although I did manage to stay awake during the entire drive home), it really was an amazing session that I just can’t wait to share more of with all of you!!
