Ottawa Arboretum Engagement Session: Rowan + Andrew

The weather this Fall has been really weird. At first it seemed like Summer just wouldn’t leave and then it was gone in an instant leaving everyone oh so cold, only to return for a day or so here and there. It was really hard to gauge when the Fall leaves would look their best and to figure out dates for our couples who wanted their engagement sessions under all those gorgeous colours.

But, in the end, everything worked out and Rowan + Andrew ended up with a truly stunning background for their engagement session at the Arboretum as the leaves were absolutely perfect and the temperature wasn’t that bad either.

If I remember correctly, these two were both excited for and slightly nervous about their engagement session leading up to the day, but in the end they had absolutely nothing to be nervous about because they were complete pros in front of the camera! Not only did they nail every pose and idea I threw at them, but they also had their own awesome ideas that I loved incorporating into their session. Mind you, pretty much anytime someone asks if they can wrap up their session with a few photos over at the greenhouses I am super excited and definitely up for it as I think that has become my favourite place to shoot in the entire city.

I had such a delightful afternoon strolling through some of my favourite spots for engagement sessions (or really any session if I’m honest) with these two awesome people. Rowan + Andrew were so nice to chat with and it was great to get to know them a little bit more ahead of their wedding day next year. I really am so excited for it as I just know it is going to be truly wonderful and a complete blast!
