I have always loved names that worked for both boys and girls, so when I learned Baby Karsyn’s adorable name I was absolutely smitten with it. And of course, things only got better when this precious little one arrived at the studio!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Photography: Karsyn”
I am sure I have said it before but, it ends up being 50/50 as to whether or not the birthday boys and girls who come into the studio to celebrate actually smash in their cakes. In fact, it’s so hit and miss that I sometimes think it’s a little odd to call it’s cake smash as it’s just as likely to be a cake ‘meh’. When Rebecca + Keith emailed me to introduce their new baby girl, I must admit I was stumped for a second. They shared her name and it definitely took me a second to figure out how to pronounce it. And since you may now be wondering, it is pronounced like the beginning of Island and it is honestly one of the prettiest, original names I have heard in a while.Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Photography: Isla”
It took Little Baby Jakub about 2 minutes to make a big stinker after I got him all wrapped up! He just seemed to know exactly when the wrap was done so he could get started, haha. Fortunately for me, my swaddles tend to keep most of the smell in, but then again that just means when it does come time to start unwrapping, there is an extra big surprise for all of us!!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Photography: Jakub”
