A few years before Willow’s newborn session it was her big Brother‘s turn in front of the camera. And let me tell you, he was not happy about it. We managed to get family photos and one or two setups of Henry done that day but he ended up having to come back on a different day when he was in a better mood. Well, low and behold, Little Sis’ Willow was in pretty much the exact same mood when it came to her newborn photos.
Again we managed to get family photos and a couple setups done on the original session date, but she too ended up having to come back another day when she was more cooperative. Kirsten + Kyle’s definitely made two cute babies, but they weren’t really into photos at all — a trait I believe they share with the Dad, haha!
I have always loved working with this family. From the very first time they were in front of my camera through so many milestones in their lives, it really is a treat whenever I get to see them. And their sessions are pretty much always super memorable. We had a snowstorm for their engagement session, they were my first wedding at Stonefields, a maternity session shot between Covid shut downs, the first newborn session I had to book a second date for (that wasn’t a twin session), a surprisingly normal maternity session (not yet blogged sorry), and now the second newborn session I had to book a second date for. But I mean, you can’t argue with the end result as this family is stunning and really know how to work it in front of my camera. And in case you were wondering, they are honestly some of the nicest, down-to-earth (funny if you know they are in the airline industry, haha!), people you will ever meet in your life!
