Sometimes I struggle with what to write about in these blog posts. It can often be hard to think of things to say that I haven’t already included in a post, or where to draw the line in terms of what stays personal and what goes public. But for Devin + Brad, the hard part about this post is figuring out where to start as there were just so many amazing moments (and photos) throughout their entire wedding day!

We have been attending the Ottawa Wedding Show for a few years now and I have yet to be disappointed with the quality of the show or the return on investment for us, but this year was even more amazing than previous years.
I sometimes can’t believe it has been 4 years since we started working with Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario – the time really has flown by! So much so that whenever anyone asks us how long we have been photographing their events, I really don’t have a quick answer, and often end up getting it wrong when I try to guesstimate. But when Wine for Wishes comes around each year it is like our little anniversary with this absolutely wonderful charity and, for us, it makes an already great event even better!

This past weekend was not only a great one because Dave and I decided to take some time to just relax and basically do nothing for a couple days, but it was also great because we were a part of the Tie the Knot Wedding Show. We were so happy to be part of this show again this year and had such a great time chatting with all the wonderful couples planning their wedding days. We also got to chat with some of the truly amazing people in the wedding industry in Ottawa, and that is always a blast!
And that’s a wrap for the wedding show season for us!
But the Ottawa Wedding Show really is a great show to end on, that’s for sure!
