Winter weddings can be a little tricky. Of course it is cold and we need to adjust how we work outside to make sure no one gets frostbite, but there is also that pesky sun. The shorter days and earlier sunsets mean we end up with less daylight for outdoor photos, and if you aren’t super keen on having a first look (which is always our first suggestion on how to work with the shorter days), it can be a little tricky to get everything captured in the best lighting. But worry not because there are always solutions and we can work pretty darn quickly when we need to and that is exactly what we did for Alexis + Peter’s winter wedding! I always forget how lovely Brockville is. I grew up nearby and spent a lot of my teens years driving around the town aimlessly, walking the mall (there was only really one shopping centre then) and really just wanting to find entertainment really anywhere else.

Brockville Country Club Wedding: Lisa + Joe
The start of a wedding day is one of my favourite times. When I show up to start bridal prep coverage I walk into a house full of excitement and anticipation. And then I get to play around with all the pretties! Bridesmaids dresses, rings, flowers, paper goods and of course, the bridal gown. Putting these things together is really fun for me, and Lisa definitely made it easy too.
