I really love small weddings. Don’t get me wrong, big weddings can be super fun and full of fantastic shenanigans, but small weddings have an atmosphere that just can’t be beat. So when Meaghan + John mentioned that they were having a small midday wedding, I was super excited!
Meaghan and John planned a peaceful ceremony at Wall Street United Church in Brockville followed by an intimate lunch at the historic Mill Restaurant. Before and after the ceremony we grabbed some shots in Hardy Park along the St. Lawrence River – one of my favourite spots for photos in Brockville. The weather was a little iffy all day as it threatened rain for a good portion of it, but luckily it more or less held off. It also provided some pretty dynamic skies for their portrait, which was pretty awesome.
These two planned an absolutely perfect midday wedding, complete with the perfect tea-length dress (also perfect to highlight Meaghan’s amazing legs!!), delicious food and some pretty fantastic backgrounds for photos (seriously guys, that wall at the Mill was heaven for me). We had such a lovely time spending the afternoon with these two and their wonderful friends and family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, it was truly an honour to be part of their day.
