It is always so special to have families return to us as their family grows up and grows larger. I had the pleasure of first working with the Roses just before the first pandemic shutdown back in March as their then youngest was turning one. I had such a super fun time hanging out with Tobias and his big sisters so when I learned that their family was expanding I was super pumped! And Baby Cedric definitely didn’t disappoint as he is just as darling and adorable as his older siblings!

Ottawa Studio Newborn Photography: Isla
When Rebecca + Keith emailed me to introduce their new baby girl, I must admit I was stumped for a second. They shared her name and it definitely took me a second to figure out how to pronounce it. I then confirmed said pronunciation via Google so I would be sure to say it correctly when I got to meet her in person (thanks internet!). And since you may now be wondering, it is pronounced like the beginning of Island and it is honestly one of the prettiest, original names I have heard in a while.
