There have been so many times where I am driving home from a wedding or session and even though it was a gorgeous day, and we got so many amazing photos that I am super excited to get o work on, I get that FOMO when I looked in my rearview mirror and see a stunning sunset in the sky. So, with that in mind, we waited for 20+ minutes at the end of this session to make sure we had taken sunset photos at the peak colour moment for Mara + Patrick’s session!

Annie + Chris had just about the perfect downtown Ottawa engagement session complete with scenic views of parliament, Chateau Laurier and the By-Ward Market. But really, no session downtown would be complete without a sweet ending, and for these two that meant hitting up one of the amazingly tasty gelato shops!

I love when couples come to sessions with an idea or two for photos . And I love it even more when they want to incorporate a little bit more of their personalities into their photos. So when Victoria + Nathan wanted to add a game of Magic, a small white pumpkin and some tree climbing into their session I was all for it! Add a couple Instax cameras and it definitely made for a super fun session!

I don’t know if there was any better way to wrap up Sarah + Isabelle’s engagement session than by popping into one of the many patios in the Byward Market for a drink!
