Oh my goodness guys – Shannon + Erin’s wedding was freaking AMAZING!! Honestly, everything about it made me so deliriously happy! And it did so in the windchill-filled, -40 degree, winter weather, it was just that good!
But in case you don’t believe me, you should definitely keep reading because this wedding day just got better and better as the day went along.

The 2018 wedding season was pretty darn amazing and I don’t think there could have been any better way to wrap up all this amazing-ness than with Emilie + Maxie’s wedding day! Not only was it at one of our absolute favourite venues, but these two were just about the sweetest, cutest people we have ever worked with! And they of course included their baby boy – I mean, does it get any cuter than a baby in a suit?!
We are pretty lucky in that we get to capture wedding days for couples who are madly in love with one another. Pretty much every wedding day includes me adoring how they smile when they catch each others eye or how they make each other laugh with the slightest of ease. But Lisa + Joe’s wedding day seemed extra special for some reason, and honestly I couldn’t quite put my finger on it until it came time for the ring exchange during their ceremony.
August 18, 2018 was definitely the date we had the absolute most inquiries for this year. Every year over the past little while has had a neat looking date and this year so many couples wanted 18/08/18 on their invites. Now, I know a lot of couples got married on this day, and I am sure they were some really good ones out there too, but I really do think Dave and I hit the jackpot as we got to work with Lindsay + Shawn and their absolutely wonderful group of family and friends. So yeah, I think we won!
