Ottawa Wedding + Newborn Photographers who know what's it like to be awkward in front of the camera
So one thing has been made abundantly clear over the last couple years — you guys love our Behind the Scenes (BTS) photos! And you know what, I am really starting to like them too. I am still pretty nervous and apprehensive about posting due to my self-conscious nature, but I really do think these are fun and funny, to put together.
As nice as it is to be able to share more of our favourite images from 2019, having so many recap posts make it harder and harder to find decent intros to the blog posts, haha! But today is one that I have been waiting for pretty much since the start – Wedding Day Portraits!
Next up in our 2019 recap posts is the details! I was so excited for this one and I had a blast putting it together for you, which may explain why it is such a long post (in the future I may need to split it up more). Nonetheless, here are all of my favourite details from 2019 from Prep straight through to Reception and of course my favourite of all – ring photos!
It’s that time again, time for all of the end-of-year blog posts. I always start mine off with this Thank You post as a way to recognize and show appreciation for all the amazing people who let us be a part of their wedding day and so much more over the last year.
I do tend to focus on our wedding days in this particular post, as listing out the individual newborns, family and other sessions from 2019 would take forever, but I do have something planned for a different recap post a little later on.
I remember looking up some sort of wedding photographer membership when I first started my business. It required you to have shot a minimum of 50 weddings with a suggested number of at least 100 weddings. I saw those numbers and thought well that is impossible! There is no way 100 couples will ask me to photograph their wedding. Well guys, despite my pessimism back then, it actually happened! And even better than that, Sarah + Paul got to be couple #100 with their amazing Lord of the Rings themed wedding day!
