Intimate Wedding at Rockcliffe Park Pavilion: Brook + Kyle

Another beautiful wedding and another gorgeous sun-filled day. Oh wait, that’s not how 2021 has gone at all!

It may not have been great for the weather, again, but in tried and true fashion, the couple made the most of it and didn’t let the rain get them down for one instant. Brook + Kyle took the entire day in stride and the fact that her dress was wet before they left the parking lot didn’t seem to bother Brook as she really was focused on the most important part of the day – marrying her lovely groom!

Intimate Wedding in Andrew Haydon Park: Annie + Chris

I seem to have just the worst luck when it comes to weddings at Andrew Haydon Park. And just so we’re clear, by that I mean the worst luck with the weather at weddings here. I have shot many here now and literally all but one have endured a rather wet, rainy day. And even the one that didn’t get rain, got an intense heat wave (to the degree that people were started to feel ill despite the copious amounts of water we had around).

But despite the less than ideal weather conditions, Annie + Chris didn’t let it get them down for too long as they definitely made the most of the day and our time together!

Wakefield Le Belvedere Wedding: Shalane + Riley

During the peak wedding season, our family and friends often ask about our schedule. Rather than telling them what days we are booked, I tend to tell them the one or two weekend dates we have open for the months of September and October. But this year, after telling them all that, I also had to add in the random Tuesday we had booked for a wedding as it meant we were taking time off around that day.

Now Tuesday may seem like a really weird day for a wedding, but honestly, Shalane + Riley’s mid-week wedding was rather perfect!

Loch March Golf Course Wedding: Courtney + Scott

We aren’t golfers. And by that I mean, I have literally never golfed at all. I think I swung my brother’s golf club in the backyard once … maybe. I’m not even 100% certain about that fact if I’m being honest. All of that to say, every time we hit up a golf course for a wedding Dave + I have relearn how to drive the carts as we swoosh around different spots for photos. Dave did all the driving for Courtney + Scott’s wedding day because I was having way too much fun watching Courtney hold onto the back of her cart! You see, there was simply too much dress for her to sit inside it – I suppose that is the one downside to a big poufy wedding dress, but I mean, she looked so darn stunning in it, I think it was worth it!

Perth Stewart Park Wedding: Tori + Jarred

I remember falling in love with this park the very first time I visited it. I instantly thought it would be so lovely to have a wedding in Stewart Park, and now many years later, we have captured multiple weddings and/or wedding day portraits (in addition to engagement and family sessions) and yet, I am just as much in love with the area as I was on the first visit.

So when Tori + Jarred changed up their wedding day plans and decided to have their entire day in the park I was 100% on board!
