Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love a good romantic comedy. Even though they all have pretty much the exact same plot, and you know exactly who is going to end up together, I could still watch them over and over again!
One of my personal favourites is Sweet Home Alabama, and although it doesn’t star my girl Sandy, it does star the always lovely Reese Witherspoon. I mention this all because at a couple points in the movie it is mentioned that you don’t meet you soulmate when you’re ten. Well, how about meeting them around grade 10? Does that sound right Alyssa + David?

Normally when the forecast calls for stormy weather on a wedding day I am more than a little nervous. Not only because of the impact it has on the photos we are able to take (as it changes the look of the images, although we can still create some really awesome things with the rain), but also because of how it will impact the couple themselves and likely even stress them out (which is not only bad for the photos, but for their overall enjoyment of their wedding day). But honestly, when I looked at the forecast for Sabrina + Jeff’s day and saw all the rain and potential storms, I wasn’t phased one bit.
Valentine’s Day landed on a weekday this year and that resulted in Dave and I celebrating the holiday on the weekend rather than on the day itself. Although to be fair, we don’t really celebrate the holiday most years, as we really just have dinner at homeĀ and watch a movie or Netflix together, which sounds sweet and all, but it isn’t really any different than most nights. Anyway, the delayed celebration meant I was able to do something pretty darn special on Valentine’s Day with some incredibly amazing couples.
Do you know what happens when lobbyist and other very political people get together for a wedding? One of the funniest and most enjoyable weddings ever!! (it sounded like a really bad joke, but wasn’t one)
