I’m always a little nervous when it comes to younger siblings’ sessions. Not because they are any different than firstborn newborn sessions, but because sometimes babies are worn out by the time we get through family and sibling photos and their solo photos don’t go as smoothly because of this. A few years before Willow’s newborn session it was her big Brother‘s turn in front of the camera. And let me tell you, he was not happy about it. We managed to get family photos and one or two setups of Henry done that day but he ended up having to come back on a different day when he was in a better mood. Well, low and behold, Little Sis’ Willow was in pretty much the exact same mood when it came to her newborn photos.

You may have noticed a sea of newborn sessions on the blog lately (and over on our Instagram page too). And yes, there have been oh so very many newborn session in the last little while, and if I am being completely honest, I have loved every single one (truly)!
But I must admit that I have really been looking forward to Baby Kain’s session and I am so glad we got the entire family in the studio!

Babies come in all sizes but I must admit, the teeny tiny ones make my job a little easier on my old joints and limbs, haha! So yes, I loved that Sweet Baby Chloe was just a tiny 5.5 pounder because it made holding her and carrying her around that much easier on my arms and back.
