You may have noticed a sea of newborn sessions on the blog lately (and over on our Instagram page too). And yes, there have been oh so very many newborn session in the last little while, and if I am being completely honest, I have loved every single one (truly)!
But I must admit that I have really been looking forward to Baby Kain’s session and I am so glad we got the entire family in the studio!
And the reason I was so excited about this one was simple – because we actually got to do it! You see, near the start of the pandemic I was supposed to shoot his big brother’s newborn session. But, lockdowns happened and that didn’t exactly go as planned. We did eventually get some truly lovely lifestyle photos when things opened back up a little bit, but it wasn’t quite the same as now middle brother Elijah was about 4 months old at that point. I did however get one of my favourite session moments ever when big brother Gabriel held my hand as we walked around the forest together – it was so freaking cute!!
All of this to say that I was so happy that we were able to capture this wonderful family’s newest member in the studio as planned! And the session was an absolute blast too! Big Brothers Gabriel + Elijah were not only super cute on their own, but they loved their Baby Brother so much and were such great listeners during the session, I honestly couldn’t have asked for better behaved big siblings during a session. Plus, I mean, just look at sweet Baby Kain, because he is just about the cutest little dude ever!
Side note: do these brothers ever look like each other, right?! Crazy!
