Bean Town Ranch Wedding: Alexandra + Aaron - Stephanie Beach Photography

I must admit I wasn’t super looking forward to the drive out to Plantagenet that was required to get to this wedding. It’s a long drive and although Dave let me have a power nap on the way there (thank you Sweety!), all I could think about was how far away we were from our baby. But every minute of that drive was oh so very worth it because not only was this wedding so incredibly fun, but Alex + Aaron were absolute knockouts and made our job pretty easy!

It was an absolutely stunning day in pretty much every way possible. The sun was shining all day long and yet, the temperature was just the right mixture of warmth and coolness to keep everyone comfortable, the venue was the perfect backdrop with loads of great photo spots, the wedding party understood my sarcastic approach to my work (and were stunning in their own right!), and of course, the couple was absolutely surrounded by love all day long.

And speaking of that couple, Alex + Aaron are gorgeous people every day, but boy-oh-boy did they ever hit it out of the ballpark on their wedding day! I mean, words just don’t do them justice — good thing I’m a photographer and have loads of photos for them. I loved the tan coloured suit Aaron chose and Alex was breathtaking in her dress. I mean, it was like she stepped right out of a bridal magazine – gorgeous!! But more important than looks, these two are incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. And if I hadn’t been able to pick up on those aspects of their personalities on my own, the speeches and adoration from their friends + family would have told me as there was only the kindest and most genuine of things said about them both publicly, and in side conversations by the guests too (because yes, we hear a lot of those, haha).

This wedding was also pretty amazing because of their sweet baby girl, Riley. And since she was only two months younger than our own baby, I got to fulfill my baby-quota for the day even with being away from my Charlie-bear. Also, I mean, look at that baby — so freaking cute!! And, I should probably add, so good all day long. She didn’t exactly stick to her normal routine when it came to eating or sleeping, but who could blame her with all that partying and shenanigans going on around her!
