We had a rather late start to the wedding season this year so that we could ease back into the swing of things after Charlotte was born. In fact, we have a rather slow season for this entire year so that we could really focus on her first year with us, since I have been told many times over that it all goes so quickly. But whether their wedding day started our season in August or way back in April or May Jenny + Jeff’s wedding was the perfect way to start things off!

These two were cool as cucumbers when we showed up to capture their prep, and honestly, they pretty much stayed that way all day long. But really why wouldn’t they, I mean, they had a great team of professionals (if I do say so myself), the weather was absolutely perfect (not too cold or too hot with lots of gorgeous, glowy light), and literally every one of their family + friends who were able to join them on the day were just so incredibly lovely (and that wedding party was so much fun!). Plus, Jenny in that dress — I mean, can you say literal perfection!?! We had such an amazing time with Jenny + Jeff and I am so happy they chose us to capture everything for them.

Side note: Since we did have an extended break between our 2022 and 2023 weddings, I was a teensy bit nervous that it would take me a second to get back into the swing of things. But apparently photography is like riding a bike for me and my muscles remembered everything we needed to do. My speaking abilities were a little clumsy all day long, but I mean, I’m not really being hired for that, haha!
