Little Baby Jonathan got a bunch of brand new outfits just for his session. In fact, I was finishing up multiple items late into the evening before his shoot. But the late night and extra sewing was oh so very worth it as this teeny dude was so darn cute and such a trooper during his session!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Photography: Jonathan”
I know I have said this before, but it really is just the most special thing for me to be able to capture the teeny babies of our previous wedding couples. Not only do I love snuggling the next generation, but I love getting to catch up with our couples as they start a new chapter of their lives together. All of this to say that Baby Wesley’s session was extra special as I got to catch up and hang out with his amazingly fun parents Sarah + Kelvin!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Photography: Wesley”
I had a huge list of props, poses and outfits for Baby Luka. And this was after having cut it in half when I was prepping the studio. I was certain he wouldn’t get through it all, since the list was seriously massive, but not only was I determined to do as much as possible, I really couldn’t bear to go without any of the options.
Now to be fair, I do always over prep so that I am ready for both the worst case scenario, where they want nothing to do with non-swaddled photos, and best case scenario, where they are sleepy the entire time and fall into every pose effortlessly. So yeah, having more ready to go than I know we will get through is normal, but it had been so long since I had a baby boy in the studio that I really struggled choosing what items to use and what not to use.Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Session: Luka”
Well, here we are again Ontario — lockdown. Which means our Newborn & Family Studio is once again shutdown and there will be another group of newborns who can’t get a session in the regular newborn timeframe. But fear not parents, because you can definitely still get newborn photos outside of those first couple weeks and they will still be super adorable!
Need proof? Well Little Sikander here will show you how it’s done!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Session: Sikander”
I have heard many times that babies have a tendency of being born with similar physical characteristics to their father. Something about having that automatic realization that it is theirs (since they didn’t carry the baby for the previous 40 weeks). But there is similarity and then there is Baby Henry, who is basically a teeny tiny clone of his Dad. Which has basically resulted in me calling his tiny Kyle, Baby Kyle, etc. ever since I first met this adorable baby!Continue reading “Ottawa Studio Newborn Session: Henry”
