My brother played a lot of sports and since our town wasn’t big enough for multiple teams, he was pretty much always on teams with his friends. This meant that I spent summers at the baseball diamond and winters at the hockey rink. Luckily, a bunch of his friends had younger siblings for me to hang out with during the games and during out-of-town tournaments we often would watch the younger kids in the hotels.
To be honest, I shouldn’t really describe it as watching them as we really just ran around the hotel all crazy-like with them until our parents made us eat dinner or actually watch one of the games. And yes, that does mean that we were those annoying kids in the halls making all that noise and pretty much frustrating all of the other guests. Well, Joe was one of those kids, running around the hotel halls with me. I remember him being a pretty funny kid who always had a giant smile on his face. He was super nice and pretty easy-going, which is likely what happens when you are the youngest of three children.
Jump forward to just last year when I met Lisa at a bridal show and learned that she was planning her wedding to none other than that super smiley guy. Meeting Joe again I learned that although he has definitely grown up, he is really still the same super nice, funny, smiling guy that he was when he was younger and it was so amazing to be able to see him with his future bride. These two are so cute together and I knew right away that their engagement session was going to be great and boy-oh-boy was I right!
These two are so fantastic that I absolutely cannot wait until their wedding day. I guess it is a good thing (for me) it is only 5 months away!
