I am going to start this wedding sneak peek post by talking about the couple’s engagement session. It may seem a little odd, but stick with me, there’s a good reason, I promise.
Engagement sessions are super fun and I like to approach them in a pretty relaxed fashion. I am not super picky how long they last, as I really just want to get to know the couple, for them to get to know me, and to get some great shots. When it came to Lisa + Joe’s engagement session, I also wanted to get to know the location, since we would be using the same one for their wedding day.
One of the awesome ideas Lisa had when she was putting together her list of wedding day photos, was to do the same shot during both the engagement session and wedding portraits. I absolutely loved the idea and we ended up recreating a couple different photos during their wedding day. It was such a super creative idea, but I really shouldn’t have expected anything less from this couple, everything about their day was so well thought out and absolutely gorgeous too!
Though cold (it is February after all), the day was pretty much perfect and absolutely stunning! I can’t wait to share more from Lisa + Joe’s wedding day, so much so that I have an extra set of sneak peek photos here, since I just couldn’t choose!!
