Strathmere Inn Wedding: Renee + Jon

Strathmere Inn Wedding Stephanie Beach Photography27 We like to meet with all of our couples before their big day. We do this to make sure that we are a good fit for one another, and I knew from the instant I met with Renee that she and her now husband, Jon, were perfectly suited to our approach to weddings.

I got the chance to chat with Jon during their engagement session and it was all reconfirmed as we ended up chatting about video games for a large part of the shoot.

As you can likely tell by now, Renee + Jon are both so nerdy (as are we), which lead to their wedding ceremony being full of some really great music (as a wonderful example their recessional music was Still Alive from the game Portal – This is a triumph. I’m making a note here: Huge success!).

And after we got some gorgeous shots of them and their bridal party around the charming Strathmere Inn, we got to enjoy their low-key reception complete with dancing and board games. For introverts like us, it doesn’t get much better than that! We even got the chance to play a few hands of Cards Against Humanity at the end of the night (thanks again for that guys).
