I believe I have mentioned before that I am not really a downtown person. The crowds, the traffic, the cement, none of it really appeals to me personally, even though it can photograph beautifully. Add the heat and humidity of a super sunny summer day onto all the things I am already not a fan of, and it’s not exactly my favourite place to be. That being said, spending the evening downtown is made infinitely better (one might even say fun) by being with two people as sweet, adorable and down-right funny as Tina + Kari.
We walked around the market, ventured into Major’s Hill Park and then of course, headed onto Parliament Hill, which is such a great backdrop for any downtown Ottawa session (even if you spend most of your mental capacity making sure to keep the construction zones out of the images).
