When I planned my own wedding a few years back, I picked up the Ottawa Wedding Magazine to help me sift through the seemingly endless options when it came to vendors in the area. It was a huge help. It was also about this time that I started my goal of having one of the weddings we photographed featured in the magazine. And now, just a few years later we are up to 3 features/articles in this fantastic publication (hopefully with more to come)!!
Kristen + Todd‘s wedding day was absolutely delightful. The day started off with a fair bit of rain, but no one let the wet weather dampen their spirits. The fantastic staff at Temple’s Sugar Bush moved the ceremony indoors and during cocktails, transformed the space for the reception. And fortunately for us, the rain held off long enough for us to get a few photos outdoors before we headed back inside.
Their day wasn’t exactly traditional, as the two saw each other before the ceremony and we did all their photos beforehand as well (such a time saver really). They even walked down the aisle together, but those breaks in tradition didn’t really matter as not only was the wedding day beautiful, but it was exactly what Kristen + Todd dreamed of, and what is more important than that?
We were so excited when we were contacted by one of the writers for Ottawa Wedding Magazine to have Kristen + Todd’s wedding day featured in the Spring/Summer 2017 edition. And you should all definitely check it out!!
