I don’t think I could have been happier when Andrea reached out to me to let me know that she and her wonderful husband Anthony had a little girl! Being born premature meant that even at nearly 8 weeks old, Olivia was the tiniest little baby I had ever held at 4 pounds 10 ounces. It was so special to have her in the studio not only because she was so tiny and cute, but also because her parents are just so delightful!
Andrea + Anthony had such a gorgeous wedding day last summer and Dave and I were so incredibly honoured to be able to capture it all for them. It will definitely be one we remember for years to come if not because of the couple themselves and their awesome circle of family and friends, than due to the fact that I am pretty sure we ended up with heat stroke by the end of it all – thank you very much heat wave of summer 2018!
Getting to capture this next big milestone in their lives together and as they started their family is incredibly special for me, especially given what this little girl has already been through having been born so early. But rest assured that she is a fighter (as is her mom) and she made her presence in the studio known. Her tiny cries may not have been loud, but they were incredibly adorable and reminded me of a little lion cub learning to roar, trying to imitate its parents. It’s times like these that I wish I was proficient in video and sound recording as it really was just the cutest little sound ever!
Little Olivia did such a wonderful job during her session and I loved getting to work with her and can’t wait to see her personality develop as she grows up!
