Yep so I definitely have favourite spots around the city and am drawn to them again and again. And even if I use the exact same locations in these spots, each couple makes it their own and I have a completely different experience (albeit I am lucky that they have always been super positive experiences so far as I get to work with the greatest clients ever!!!). Courtney + Scott were not only great to walk around this wonderful little trail with, but they are just so darn cute! I loved all of their genuine laughs and cuddles!
It is so often that couples tell me they don’t know how to pose or that they are super awkward in front of a camera, and to be honest, I have heard it so many times and then gotten so many wonderful images from said couples that I actually look forward to hearing it! To me, it means that I am going to get to see them at their most adorably awkward, and for me that always ends up with such cute photos!
Courtney + Scott for example were so amazing in front of the camera! They moved from each pose into slightly different versions that really showed how they interacted with each other – and in my opinion, that is one of the best things you can do during your session! It not only allows me to learn your natural stances, etc., but it also gets you photos where you look like yourselves!! And that is exactly what these two wonderful people did – they made each pose their very own and smooshed as much genuine laughter and smiles into it all as they possibly could. And when combined with the gorgeous light we had throughout their entire session (despite the rain we had all day leading up to the shoot), it was all an absolute dream!
I am absolutely smitten with these two and can’t wait for their wedding day next year as I just know it is going to be a fan-freaking-tastic time!!
