Sweet Baby Maeve was a darling girl after my own heart. Like my own little girl, Maeve is an IVF baby and a photo representing that was one of the few requests her parents had when we were planning her newborn photos. And of course I was more than happy to make that happen.
But this cutie-pie is so much more than just that, she is an absolute doll and I loved every second of her newborn session. She was actually pretty cooperative for her photos, although she did wake up a couple times to check things out and have a little stretch. But in all honesty, I love when babies wake up for just a little bit during their session. Because that gives me a chance to get some eyes open photos and for them to get a milk break so I know they are good and comfy during their photos.
I also loved this session because it gave me a chance to catch up with Tori + Nic since I hadn’t seen them since their wedding day. And just like the previous times I got to hang out and work with them, it was an absolute delight. They are just two super kind, thoughtful people and I always have such a great time chatting with them. Plus, I am always so honoured when wedding couples come back with their new little ones.
