Dave and I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!! We hope everyone is getting a chance to enjoy some quality time with the people they love the most (and share some delicious food too).

Eleven years ago I was a freshman in University. I was starting my engineering program and came across a great group of classmates. A lot of classes, studying, group assignments and one year-end project later and we all managed to graduate in more or less one piece. Truth is, I likely wouldn’t have graduated without that group of classmates. Skip forward to a few weeks ago when I got to spend the afternoon catching up with some of these classmates and meeting their new son, Ketan.
Our weekends this year are stuffed full of great events, both business and personal. The other weekend was a personal event, well it was actually two because my sister-in-law is awesome and lined up both of her children’s events in one weekend (thanks again!).
I would like to start out this blog post with an apology to my adorable goddaughter. Sweet Evelyn, it is unlikely that there will ever be as many photos of you as there are of your big brother Jackson, and for this I am sorry. This is not because you are not a wonderful subject, and it is definitely not because you are less loved, it is really just a matter of time. You see, Jackson was alive for nearly three years before you graced us with your presence. That’s three years where he was the centre of attention, and therefore the focus of my camera, during all family events.
