I had the hardest time coming up with something to say for their sneak peek and I am once again struggling now that it is time for their blog post. But the struggle isn’t because there isn’t anything to say about Teresa + Travis’ engagement session, or that it wasn’t a good time. In fact, the struggle is because I just have so much to say that my little brain is overwhelmed with it all because this was a seriously amazing session with two of the most fun people ever!!

Some couples we just click with. When we meet I instantly know that I am the photographer for them and they are the couple for me. We could talk endlessly about all the very best (and nerdiest) of things and have a wonderful time doing so. Nadine + Kevin are definitely one of those couples!

Monk Environmental Park Engagement Session: Brittany + Mike
Everyone was so anxious for Summer to get here, they just couldn’t wait for the warm weather to come and to be able to get those summer tans started. Me on the other hand, well I could have done with a bit more Spring. As pretty as Summer can be, I’m really not a huge fan. And one of the reason for that is because of the bugs! Summer to me equates to multiple months of whacking bugs and scratching the inevitable (and abundant) bites, and Brittany + Mike’s engagement session was the start of all of that for me this year as I came away with so many bites that I lost count. That being said, it was all so incredibly worth it as in the end as I got to spend a wonderful evening with these two and we created some gorgeous photos together!

Monk Environmental Park Engagement Session: Chantalle + Sebastien
I often go driving around the city looking for interesting spots for sessions (there are so many random spots marked on my phone’s map for future reference). And it was about two years ago or so that I found some really cool forested areas out in Kanata. I have suggested them to a few couples as possible spots for their engagement session, but for various reasons (mostly having to do with the season), they didn’t get selected, until now that is. And although I absolutely love this park/trail/forest with its super cute bridge, adorable paths and great light, I think Chantalle + Sebastien could have made literally any spot look like a million bucks!
